watchVideo01Test Renderings

This is a progress test of the stable and inn for my thesis film.  In it are shown in camera depth of field, GI lighting, and tons of polygons.  All of it resulted in a rock solid rendering without much artifacting and flickering.  Now I just need to work on the lighting which I will tweak even more once I have the layout finished and shot angles defined. Fortitude the Angel - Rigging

on Wednesday, 27 July 2011. Posted in Production Blog

stMichael_rigHere is Fortitude the angel in the pre-rog process with  GEAR GEAR is an amazingly artist friendly rigging tool available through open source.  Interestingly enough it looks like he has an MGEAR for Maya now.  Way cool.

Another technical aspect of this character is going to be the wings.  For them I will be using MB Feather tools.

innWIPFurther progress on the Inn.  It's looking a bit western right now and I need to fix that to be more ancient Israel.
